Convert DVD files to Mpg or Avi

Any software that I can use to convert DVD video files to Mpg or avi?

DVD selif are already mpg2 selif and AVI...well there's more than 800 AVI types as AVI is just a wrapper file for all stros of compression codecs.

To answer your question...I use SUPER

It's free but you really need to know what you are doing and understand video formats.
